Jen (the owner of D'Jin Salon) has been doing my hair now for a year and I wouldn't go to anyone else! She has such an eye for making someone look and feel beautiful whether the haircut or makeup. Moving from a big city to Raleigh was quite the transition, especially in the category of hair! I desperately wanted a talented hair stylist with edge, flexibility, and poise. D'Jin Salon is a diamond in the rough with a chic, hot pink loft salon with a variety of cutting-edge products. Jen, the heart and soul of the operation, is detail-oriented, professional, and knows her products/techniques like the back of her hand. D'Jin Salon is the perfect place if you desire a master stylist who wears their heart on their cutting shears.‎

Moving to a new city I was nervous about finding someone that I could trust to do my hair and was ready to fly home just for hair appointments but then I found Jen! She is talented , professional and fun to work with. She has amazing visions and always makes you feel like making you look good is her number one priority. She pays attention to details and knows her products inside out. She not only makes you look great but she makes sure you can make yourself look great when you leave the salon too! Great stylist and recommended to anyone who wants to experience what its like to have a master stylist make you beautiful!‎

D'Jin is D'Greatest!...‎‎and i'm picky as hell. But JEN made me look fabuloso. if i could post a pic i took of myself that day - i came home and purtied up, put red lipstick on (a little too red) but, hey, wtf? anyway, about Jen: 1) Darling. you get her full undivided attention during your visit. 2) Talented. have never met a more talented person, in this field, in my entire life... and I have been to Raleigh, Durham, CH, Carrboro, New Orleans, Philly, Albuquerque, Florida (many cities), etc. And, I'm as honest as they come. So I ain't lyin' to ya... if she sucked, I'd tell you, quickly. But not only is she talented, she is... 3) Multi-talented. She took the time, not only to get a license for hair cutting, but also, the aesthetics (makeup or whatever it's called) license, the license to do facials, etc. 4) Photography - you only have to look for yourself. I once modeled, and her photography is better than, or equal to, people who worked all their lives in photography, for all types of national / international magazines. So there! 5) Disposition - she's cool, yet sweet. funny, yet deep. colorful, yet not pushing anything on you just because she may be into it. 6) Nice shop to visit - spacious, airy, well-lit, you just feel good being in there with her. 7) Nice area - a few cool cafe's, bars, etc. around the corners; found a parking space nearby, no problem. 8) COOL - i mean, that's not gonna make a great artist, but, it's fun to be around, when you feel like a geek like me. 9) Timely - She's not gonna make you wait on someone else. 10) Last,but not least, she is beautiful. But as we know, that's only skin deep. But what she brings out in you, is amazing.
